Another excellent meal! Tried the stuffed banana pepper special, which was excellent, and we always have to start with the bread, beans and greens, and arancini. Our group had a few pastas and entrees, and you really can’t go wrong. Chicken Parmesan, chicken piccata, pesto Alfredo, and you’ve never had food that comes out so hot (it’s incredible!). They do add 20% gratuity on parties of 6 or more, but they call it out very well, which made it even nicer to give a little extra. The portions are also leftover friendly even if you come hungry.
This place is amazing. I am Italian and have a hard time finding Italian food that I like. This place blew me away. The meatballs, rigatoni, chicken cutlet, spaghetti literally everything was delicious. Best restaurant meatballs I’ve ever had. The tiramisu was the best restaurant tiramisu I’ve ever had. And the espresso martinis are so good. 10/10 would come back. Huge portions for the price too
Our party of 8 dined there last night to celebrate a birthday. It was our first time there and it was AMAZING from start to finish! The cocktails were all delicious. I think we had 6 different apps - all soooo good. The entrees were so authentically italian (with huge portions to match) - every bite was delicious. Service was excellent. And the owner and his wife are just the loveliest people. Felt like we were having dinner at a friend's home. Great vibe as well - can't wait to get back there!
We had my mother’s 80th birthday in the upstairs private room yesterday evening. It was absolutely spectacular!! Andrew helped us plan the dinner and everything was perfect. The food and the service were impeccable. Thank you to Ariana our server who was so quick and efficient while managing all 26 of us!!! This restaurant is so nostalgic and the vibe is awesome! Thank you for making the night so special!
Not sure how this place has been under my radar, the dinner we just had here was 10 out of 10 delicious. 100% will be back. The rigatoni was short ribs was honestly one of the best Italian dinners I’ve ever had in Pittsburgh
This place was fabulous! We thought their Ragu sauce with the short rib was incredible. The Bolognese was also very good. Dessert was great. The garlic butter for the focaccia was amazing. I’ve never had it like that, and I will be trying that again. A perfect date night spot or great place to take people when they come into town.
Top 5 Italian restaurants I’ve had in the states! Delicious sauce, noodles, and bread! The sizzle butter and garlic confit was delicious and definitely a must have with your meal! The beans and greens were delicious! The portions were HUGE! We loved the chicken parm and rigatoni and meatballs! Service was excellent and our waitress was great! Very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and offering suggestions which were greatly appreciated. This will become a staple for us moving forward! Great for a date night or a causal dinner! Highly recommend.
Everything from the food and service was amazing. We stopped in for dinner with a work group and we are glad we did. Ordered a number of their appetizers and they all tasted fresh and amazing. Their dinner portions are HUGE! Definitely come hungry or be prepared to bring food home. You can easily share a dinner entre between two people, especially if you get an appetizer. Highly recommend.
